Rawalpindi \/ Islamabad, August 5, 2026:<\/strong> Leader of the Shia Community in Pakistan, Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi<\/strong>, in his special message on the occasion of the 38th martyrdom anniversary of Martyr Leader Allama Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini<\/strong>, stated that August 5 remains a dark day in history, as it was the day when Allama Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini was assassinated by gunfire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although his primary role was religious, he introduced a new intellectual and practical vision in Pakistan. He became the voice of the oppressed and underprivileged and rendered invaluable services in promoting unity and solidarity among Muslims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayatollah Naqvi said that during the period of martial law, the Martyr Leader not only awakened the people to their rights but also taught followers of all schools of thought the values of unity, tolerance, mutual harmony, and coexistence. He worked tirelessly to strengthen Muslim unity and made sincere efforts to bring the Muslims of Pakistan together as one strong nation, the impact of which can still be felt today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further stated that the life of Martyr Leader Allama Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini serves as a beacon for the Muslim Ummah. His ideas, character, and lifelong struggle deserve thorough study so that the younger generation may draw guidance from his intellectual legacy. He emphasized that the Martyr Leader’s vision was not confined to a single community but represented a message of hope for the entire Muslim Ummah, the homeland, and all oppressed people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayatollah Sajid Ali Naqvi urged the followers of the Martyr Leader to continue walking in his footsteps by raising their voices in support of the oppressed Muslims of Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, and Kashmir<\/strong>, while continuing to advocate for oppressed nations on the international stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also stressed the importance of working with determination within Pakistan to address the challenges facing deprived and marginalized communities, eliminate sectarianism, reduce class divisions, combat corruption, promote moral and social reform, and strengthen national unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He concluded by saying that the life of Martyr Leader Allama Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini teaches that unity, justice, speaking the truth, public awareness, and standing with the oppressed are the foundations of a strong, peaceful, and dignified society. His struggle continues to serve as a guiding light for both Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
