Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Leader of the Shia Muslims in Pakistan, stated that followers of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him and his family), are brothers to one another. He stressed that ending the current tensions and strengthening the Muslim Ummah are shared responsibilities. He added that the welfare and progress of the Muslim Ummah depend on mutual respect, brotherhood, and unity among Muslims, urging Pakistan to once again play an effective role in resolving disputes and establishing lasting peace in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that the statements made by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar offer encouraging messages and serious, constructive guidance toward peace, economic prosperity, stability, and development in the region. He emphasized that immediate and meaningful steps are necessary, while remaining alert to plots that threaten the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi made these remarks while expressing deep concern over the deteriorating situation, escalating tensions, and growing atmosphere of conflict in the region. Commenting on the statements by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar amid the serious situation, he called on the Muslim Ummah and the Pakistani state to recognize the need for joint efforts to strengthen unity and resolve disputes peacefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Referring to the Qur\u2019anic message urging believers to hold firmly together to the rope of Allah and not become divided, he emphasized that responsibility for ending mutual disputes, current tensions, and the atmosphere of war rests with Muslim states and individuals genuinely committed to peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He described Iran\u2019s repeated offers of mediation, made in light of the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, as encouraging. He also welcomed the proposal by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in Cairo, to urgently establish a mediation and reconciliation committee comprising wise, sincere, well-intentioned individuals committed to peace and stability, with a mandate to take practical steps toward resolving disputes. Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi described these proposals as positive and serious guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed that Pakistan, as an Islamic nuclear state trusted by all parties, should once again undertake this role and contribute meaningfully to ending the ongoing disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Referring to Pakistan\u2019s previous efforts to ease regional tensions, he called for those efforts to be renewed with the same seriousness and commitment, expressing hope that they would produce positive and far-reaching results. He said such an initiative could pave the way for peace and stability, reduce the negative economic consequences of regional tensions, and promote the region\u2019s strength, development, and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi called for serious efforts to end the tensions and urged all sides to avoid negative rhetoric, in order to strengthen unity and brotherhood within the Muslim Ummah and promote lasting peace throughout the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
