Recognition of Palestine by Countries is Not Enough – Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafaria Pakistan

Rawalpindi/Islamabad, 22 September 2025 – The Leader of the Shia Nation of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, said it appears that the blood of the oppressed Palestinian martyrs is now bearing fruit and compelling the global conscience to act. Some countries are now recognizing Palestine as a state — the same countries that previously legitimized, nurtured, and watered the illegitimate Zionist entity planted in the heart of the Middle East, allowing atrocities to be unleashed on Gaza.

He said that although this recognition is apparently a welcome step and an initial result of the sacrifices of the oppressed, the world must remember that the root cause behind these crimes is imperialism itself. He called upon countries that are raising their voices against the genocide of Palestinians to go beyond words: withdraw their capital from imperialist banks, recall their ambassadors, and completely boycott imperialist and Israeli products.

Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi expressed these views in reaction to the recognition of Palestine as a state by countries including the UK, Canada, and Australia. He added that this recognition is a victory of the continuous struggle of the Palestinian people and the stance of the oppressed of Gaza. He said that those who once nurtured the illegitimate Zionist state are now not only speaking against its atrocities but also recognizing Palestine as a state.

While terming this development positive, he stressed that these countries must also apologize for their past role and move beyond verbal statements by taking practical steps to stop the usurper. He further emphasized that all nations that have long been protesting the massacres and lamenting the genocide must now act.
