Islamabad, October 27, 2025 –
The Leader of the Shia Nation of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, stated that the Kashmir issue is the greatest threat to peace in South Asia because it is the unfinished agenda of the partition of the subcontinent. The colonial powers deliberately left this issue unresolved to fulfill their malicious objectives and to create instability and chaos in the region.
He said that the people of Kashmir and Palestine are still victims of the double standards of the so-called global arbiters of justice while struggling for their basic human rights. The sons of the soil have been rendered homeless and displaced in their own homeland. On one hand, the world celebrates International Heritage Day, and on the other, civilizations thousands of years old are being destroyed. Occupied Kashmir and Palestine stand as the biggest proof of global hypocrisy, oppression, and devastation.
Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi issued separate messages on October 27 – Kashmir Black Day (marking the illegal occupation of Kashmir by Indian forces in 1947) and International Heritage Day. He said:
“It was October 27, 1947, when the foundation of oppression and tyranny on Kashmiris was laid. India, without any justification or legal and constitutional basis, deployed its army and occupied the region. More than seven decades have passed; everything has changed, yet Kashmiris and Palestinians are still suffering under brutal oppression and are victims of the hypocritical policies of the so-called global justice system. The true heirs of the land have been expelled and turned into refugees, exiled from their own homeland. International organizations, while claiming to defend human and fundamental rights for their own interests, use other pretexts — yet the two oppressed nations most in need of their attention, Kashmir and Palestine, remain ignored due to the backing of imperialist powers.
Allama Naqvi further said that the Pakistani nation will continue to extend political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmiri people.
He expressed hope that the dawn will surely rise — the day when Kashmiris will witness the sun of freedom shining according to their aspirations.
