The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan and Head of the Islamic Movement, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, stated that the Islamic Revolution in Iran emerged as a result of a popular movement under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) and continues to remain strong and firmly established today under the leadership of the Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei. He said that this revolution has given hope to oppressed peoples across the world and delivered a powerful message against imperialist and Zionist forces.
He added that Iran’s popular movement has thwarted every conspiracy of the enemy, while imperialist and Zionist powers have not refrained from imposing sanctions and employing illegitimate tactics against Iran at every level.
The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan said that during the current economic challenges, the Iranian people held protests to demand their legitimate rights. The government took these public demands seriously and adopted measures to address the issues, demonstrating that the voice of the people is given due importance. However, the enemy attempted to misrepresent these protests, worsen the situation, and interfere in order to create instability within Iran.
He emphasized that any form of aggression would have repercussions across the entire region. In such circumstances, the people of Pakistan will not ignore any aggression and will practically demonstrate their full support for pro-revolution countries, especially Iran. He added that public awareness, national unity, and pro-revolution sentiments in Pakistan are the true guarantees of peace and stability in the region.
He further stated that the survival of the Islamic Revolution in Iran is a beacon of hope for oppressed peoples worldwide. Despite continuous conspiracies by imperialist and Zionist forces against Iran, the revolution remains strong and enduring due to the steadfast leadership and determination of the Iranian people. He concluded that the people of Pakistan will not lag behind in supporting any pro-revolution movement and will respond decisively against any illegitimate intervention in the region.
