Efforts for Unity and Solidarity Must Continue — Allama Sajid Naqvi

The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan stated that avoiding mutual differences on social media and public platforms, and upholding moral values, is extremely important. He added that scholars and orators must play an effective role in promoting the mourning of Sayyid al-Shuhada through unity, respect, tolerance, patience, and a unified voice.

The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, said that in view of current international challenges, especially those facing the Muslim Ummah, efforts for unity and solidarity must continue. He emphasized the need to avoid internal disputes on social media and public platforms and to adhere firmly to moral values.

He expressed these views during a meeting with the Provincial President of Shia Ulema Council North Punjab, Allama Ishtiaq Hussain Kazmi; Provincial Deputy General Secretary Zakir Syed Imran Haider Bukhari (Guddu Shah); Provincial Secretary for Information Mureed Kazim Jafri; and Provincial Assistant Umeed Ali Alvi. On this occasion, the provincial president presented a detailed report on the current situation, particularly regarding unity among believers and religious and organizational matters, after which Allama Sajid Naqvi guided the delegation.

He further stated that it is the need of the hour for scholars and orators, with unity, respect, tolerance, patience, and harmony, to continue playing a positive and effective role in the promotion and protection of the mourning of Sayyid al-Shuhada, as well as in spreading the Seerah and moral teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

He instructed the provincial leadership and cabinet members to take immediate positive, practical, and effective steps to create a more conducive and favorable environment.
