The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in his message on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, stated that the Islamic Revolution in Iran emerged as a result of a powerful popular movement under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), and today it continues to stand firmly under the leadership of Ayatollah al-Uzma Syed Ali Khamenei.
He said that the objectives for which the Islamic Revolution was established are such that they unite the entire Muslim Ummah. The greatest lesson of the Islamic Revolution of Iran is the implementation of Qur’anic teachings, the supremacy of Shariah, the elimination of division and discord, and the establishment of unity. We must create unity within our ranks and make serious efforts to eliminate the causes of sectarianism and division.
Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi stated that the Islamic Revolution of Iran has played a historic role in promoting Islamic civilization and culture and in making the Muslim Ummah aware of the malicious intentions of colonial and imperialist powers. Today, this struggle has entered a critical phase, which has caused global imperialism to become fearful and engage in new conspiracies; however, this revolution will ultimately succeed.
He said that the secret of the success of the Islamic Revolution lies in the fact that it is not a temporary or interest-based revolution, but rather a conscious, intellectual, and ideological revolution. Time has proven that this revolution is the true representative of the Muslim world and humanity. Its foundation was laid upon the immense sacrifices of hundreds of scholars, jurists, fighters, intellectuals, and leaders who offered their blood, thoughts, pens, abilities, and even their families to establish the structure of the Islamic Revolution.
The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan further said that the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA), took guidance at every stage from the golden principles of Islam and from the life and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Despite conspiracies, oppression, sanctions, blockades, and other tactics, today under the leadership of Ayatollah al-Uzma Syed Ali Khamenei, the Islamic Revolution of Iran has become a strong example of courage, steadfastness, and dignity on the face of the earth.
He added that in view of the ongoing aggressive actions by global imperialism against the Muslim Ummah, if we wish to live in this world as a living and dignified nation, we must unite for the achievement of higher objectives, rise above sectarian and group-based divisions, and develop steadfastness, insight, and awareness within ourselves.
