The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan, Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, visited Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Polyclinic Hospital in Islamabad, accompanied by a high-level delegation from the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan. The delegation included Allama Dr. Shabbir Hassan Meethami, Syed Sikandar Abbas Gilani (Advocate), Zahid Ali Akhundzadeh, along with other officials. The visit was aimed at inquiring after the victims injured in the recent terrorist bombing that targeted Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra Mosque.
The visit followed complaints regarding delays in the medical treatment of those injured in the attack. During the tour, His Eminence received a detailed briefing from the relevant authorities on the medical services and facilities being provided to the victims, stressing the need to intensify efforts and expedite medical procedures.
He also met with the injured individuals, inquired about their health conditions, expressed his full solidarity with them, and prayed for their speedy recovery, emphasizing the importance of providing the highest standards of medical care during these sensitive circumstances.
