The Leader of Shia Muslims in Pakistan, Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, strongly condemned the U.S. and Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent state and a clear breach of international law and norms.
He stated that imperial powers have once again targeted a brotherly Islamic country in a dangerous move that threatens the stability of the entire region. He added that pursuing negotiations on one hand while engaging in open military aggression on the other reflects unacceptable double standards and is deeply concerning.
He warned that initiating such a “bloody game” would push the region into a new phase of instability and could open the door to prolonged conflict and serious consequences.
He emphasized that Pakistan, as a nation, stands with the Islamic Republic of Iran—its leadership and people—and affirms its solidarity with Iran’s sovereignty and legitimate rights.
He also expressed solidarity and sympathy with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Ali Khamenei, and with the Iranian people, urging the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in preventing further escalation and safeguarding regional peace.
The statement concluded by reaffirming that respect for state sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs are fundamental principles for ensuring international peace and security.
