Leader of Shia Muslims in Pakistan Offers Condolences at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution

The Leader of Shia Muslims in Pakistan, Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad, where he met with the Iranian Ambassador, Amir Reza Moghadam. He offered condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of Muslims worldwide, Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, prayed for the elevation of his ranks, and recited Surah Al-Fatiha for his soul.

Accompanying him were the Central Vice President of the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, Central Secretary of Information Zahid Ali Akhundzada, and former Gilgit-Baltistan Minister Muhammad Ali Qaid.

In his condolence remarks, he described Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei as a wise, visionary religious, scholarly, and political leader for the Muslim Ummah. He stated that he was a thinker, strategist, and courageous personality who, through his abilities, strengthened the Islamic revolutionary system, spreading the light of the revolution across the world.

He added that the success of the Islamic Revolution was intolerable to imperialist powers, who perceived his pure leadership as a threat. He said that his مظلومانہ yet honorable martyrdom has deprived the Muslim world—especially the oppressed—of a compassionate guardian, visionary leader, and great struggler.

He acknowledged that the void created by his departure would be difficult to fill, but expressed hope that just as the Islamic Revolution flourished during his lifetime, it would grow even stronger and clearer after his martyrdom, and that the Islamic Republic of Iran would emerge more resilient and powerful.

Ambassador Amir Reza Moghadam thanked the Leader of Shia Muslims in Pakistan for his condolence message and stated that his visionary revolutionary leadership distinguished and honored the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and that its banner would continue to remain raised with pride.
