The martyred leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, fulfilled a great historic mission by uniting the Muslim Ummah alongside the Iranian nation and by firmly consolidating the system of the Islamic Revolution of Iran to its very foundations. This system has grown so strong that it continues its path of success despite continuous conspiracies and repeated attacks by hostile forces.
The son of the martyred leader, Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, who possesses a deep understanding of international affairs, will emerge as a powerful voice for Islam. He will further strengthen the Islamic system and will, by the will of Allah, thwart the Zionist and imperialist conspiracies targeting Islam and the Muslim world.
The martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution was a profound shock that stirred a wave of grief, anger, and sorrow among his followers and throughout the Muslim Ummah around the world. His thirty-seven years of service to Islam and to the Islamic Republic of Iran are widely recognized, and his inspiring leadership had defeated the malicious ambitions of global arrogance, colonialism, and Zionism.
After the passing of Imam Khomeini, the martyred leader worked tirelessly, day and night, for the dignity of the Iranian nation and the honor of the Muslim world. The immense sorrow and mourning witnessed across the world following his martyrdom reflected the deep impact of his leadership.
Selecting a successor to such a towering personality as Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei was undoubtedly one of the most difficult and sensitive stages, particularly amid ongoing threats and aggression from the forces of global arrogance and Zionism, and at a time when the nation continues to defend its sovereignty.
However, the Assembly of Experts successfully overcame this critical stage in the best possible manner by unanimously electing the worthy son of the martyred leader, the distinguished scholar with profound insight into international affairs, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
The spiritual and intellectual upbringing he received from his martyred father will undoubtedly assist him in carrying this immense responsibility. His scholarly stature and foresight will help guide the system of the Islamic Revolution of Iran into a new phase, enabling it to confront challenges and defeat the conspiracies orchestrated by global arrogance against Islam and the Muslim world.
