Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the embodiment of the highest and most exalted attributes and perfections. His pure life and sacred character are a model for the entire Muslim Ummah and indeed for all humanity. Along with celebrating the birth anniversary of the Seal of the Prophets (PBUH) in a befitting manner, his teachings must be kept in view, and the worst distortions in every sphere of life should be corrected in the light of his guidance.
Allama Sajid Naqvi stated that the Prophet’s pure life, character, and conduct demand from us that, in the light of his teachings, we promote unity and harmony, reform the flaws within the system, and transform it into a welfare state. He further said that since we firmly believe in one God, one Prophet (PBUH), one Qur’an, and one Ka‘bah, then regarding secondary differences, we must cultivate the habit of addressing them on an academic level, in a civilized manner, and with refined etiquette.
He emphasized that the revered Maraji‘ and great religious authorities have clearly declared that insulting the sanctities of Islamic schools of thought is prohibited. Finally, Allama Sajid Naqvi said that the Muslim Ummah should practically demonstrate unity and make it clear that it is indeed one united Ummah.
