Islamabad / Rawalpindi – January 21, 2026 :
The Leader of the Jafaria Community of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, along with a high-level delegation, met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam.
The delegation accompanying the Leader of the Jafaria Community included the Central Vice Presidents of the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Ramzan Tauqeer and Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi; the Central Secretary General, Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maysami; and the Central Secretary for Information, Zahid Ali Akhunzada. During the meeting, the ambassador briefed the leader on the latest law-and-order situation in Iran, describing the current conditions as peaceful and stable, and reaffirmed Iran’s resolve and preparedness to confront any external threats.
The Leader of the Jafaria Community prayed for the health and safety of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah al-Uzma Syed Ali Khamenei (may his shadow be prolonged), as well as for the protection of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the Iranian people. He emphasized that in every difficult hour, the people of the brotherly Islamic countries, Iran and Pakistan, stand side by side with one another.
The Iranian Ambassador, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, expressed his gratitude to the Leader of the Jafaria Community of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, and his delegation for their visit, and also conveyed his sorrow and condolences over the tragic fire incident at Gul Plaza in Karachi, which resulted in the loss of human lives.
