Islamabad / Rawalpindi – 11 March 2026
The Leader of the Shia in Pakistan, Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, has called for the observance of International Quds Day on Friday, 13 March 2026 (23rd of Ramadan 1447 AH) with full participation across the country.
He urged people from all segments of society to strongly protest the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, and the unjust aggression imposed by American imperialism and the Zionist regime.
He emphasized that people should actively participate in Quds Day programs, gatherings, and rallies throughout the country, raising their voices in support of the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque (the first Qibla) and expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine.
Naqvi further stated that the Palestinian and Iranian nations have faced severe oppression, noting that American imperialism and the Zionist regime have committed grave humanitarian crimes, including massacres, acts of genocide, and the targeting of women, children, and the elderly, as well as attacks on hospitals, NGOs, journalists, and humanitarian aid efforts.
He stressed that the United States and the Zionist regime have become so reckless that they no longer respect international borders, laws, or global charters. Therefore, Quds Day on the 23rd of Ramadan must be observed nationwide with strong protests against these injustices.
In conclusion, he stated that these protests will continue until the liberation of Al-Quds and the restoration of the legitimate rights of the oppressed Palestinian people, and until lasting peace and stability are established in the region.
