Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH Message: A Call for Unity and Reform – Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi

Eid al-Fitr Message 1447 AH

The Leader of Shia Muslims in Pakistan, Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, extended his greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, stating that despite the arrival of Eid each year, Pakistan continues to face serious challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, inflation, unemployment, social and educational issues, diseases, crime, and insecurity—particularly extremism.

He emphasized that Eid serves as a reminder of the Qur’anic and Prophetic obligation of unity, urging Muslims to uphold this spirit with sincerity and commitment beyond Eid. He also highlighted that Eid is an opportunity to renew efforts toward self-reform, societal improvement, and the establishment of a just system.

He further stated that the Muslim Ummah must continue striving to resolve the major issues facing the Islamic world, particularly the قضية Jerusalem, the suffering of Gaza, and the situation in Kashmir, while continuing to support global freedom movements.

Naqvi expressed hope that Eid al-Fitr this year would be observed with simplicity in light of the imposed war and the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei, along with his family members and companions.

In conclusion, he called upon scholars and preachers across the country to address in their Eid sermons the الحرب المفروضة على إيران by the United States and Israel, to condemn the martyrdom of the Leader, and to raise a strong voice of protest against these actions.
