Islamabad:
On the occasion of the 40th day (Arbaeen) of the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, a commemorative condolence gathering was held in Islamabad. The event was attended by the Leader of the Shia in Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, who participated as a distinguished guest.
The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, was also present at the gathering, along with a large number of senior scholars and prominent religious and social figures.
The event featured important speeches, including an address by Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, who highlighted the significance of the Arbaeen commemoration, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the martyred leader and his historic role in defending the causes of the Muslim Ummah. He praised his steadfast struggle and unwavering in preserving the dignity and independence of the ummah.
Mr. Reza Amiri Moghadam also delivered a speech, expressing his appreciation for the participation of religious leadership and scholars in Pakistan in commemorating this occasion. He emphasized the deep ties between the Iranian and Pakistani peoples and commended the spirit of solidarity and unity demonstrated at the event.
The gathering witnessed a significant of senior scholars, religious students, and notable political and social personalities, who reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the path and upholding the principles for which the martyred leader sacrificed his life.
