Qom, Iran:
The leader of the Shia community in Pakistan, Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, accompanied by a delegation, met in Qom with Hujjat al-Islam Agha Jawad Shahristani, the General Representative in Iran and son-in-law of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani.
Hujjat al-Islam Agha Jawad Shahristani welcomed Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi to Qom.
During the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions on various matters of mutual interest, including religious, national, social, and international affairs. They also discussed the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah, ways to strengthen unity and solidarity across the Islamic world, promote closer ties among religious institutions, and enhance mutual cooperation.
