Rawalpindi / Islamabad:
The Leader of Shia Muslims in Pakistan ,Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, met with a high-level delegation from the Pakistan Muslim League (N), where discussions were held on the upcoming Gilgit-Baltistan elections and other political matters.
The delegation was led by the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, and included Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Amir Muqam, Punjab Minister for Health Khawaja Salman Rafique, former Deputy Mayor of Islamabad Zeeshan Naqvi, along with other political figures.
During the meeting, both sides discussed mutual cooperation, coordination, and political strategies regarding the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. Sikandar Abbas Gilani and Qasim Ali Qasmi were also present on the occasion.
Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi stated that his party has always played a vital role in promoting peace and stability in the country, as well as fostering unity among Muslims. He added that political activities regarding the Gilgit-Baltistan elections have already begun, and that his party is actively present in the political field to advocate for the rights of the people.
He further emphasized that dialogue and consultation among different political parties are an essential part of the democratic process, and that decisions will be made after careful consideration and mutual consultation on the proposals presented.
